Introduction to Rambert Grades Contemporary Dance Discover Rambert Grades, the recommended contemporary dance syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance. This free practical workshop provides an opportunity for dance educators to experience the syllabus and explore how contemporary dance training can complement and enhance ballet teaching. This session carries 1.5 hours of Time-Valued CPD. This session aims to: • Introduce teachers to the philosophy and structure of Rambert Grades • Provide an embodied understanding of the syllabus through guided practical participation of Technical exercises and Performance solos • Offer insight into how contemporary training can support the development of expressive, versatile and well-rounded dancers Learning Outcomes By the end of this session, participants will: • Understand the core strands of the Rambert Grades syllabus • Gain confidence in introducing contemporary dance alongside ballet training • Leave inspired with ideas for nurturing creativity, performance and technical skills in their students • Know how to access discounted Rambert Grades membership through the RAD Rambert Grades provides contemporary dance training and qualifications grounded in professional practice, connecting choreography from world-class stages to studios everywhere. Founded by Rambert and Rambert School, it builds on a century-long heritage of developing exceptional dance artists and offers a progressive approach to dance education. Today, over 700 trained teachers worldwide deliver Rambert Grades, inspiring the next generation of dancers. This is a free event. You are able to book one ticket per transaction.
